What is the opportunity?
As a Software Engineer on the Freestyle team, you will be a proficient individual contributor responsible for designing and implementing features within Freestyle Orchestrator—Workspace ONE UEM's low-code, cross-platform automation and workflow engine. This platform enables IT administrators to automate complex device management tasks, orchestrate application and profile deployments, and enforce compliance across diverse device fleets (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Linux, and VDI/Horizon environments). You will work with increasing independence, demonstrating initiative and creativity in solving technical problems while collaborating with senior engineers, product managers, and architects to deliver impactful solutions that advance Workspace ONE's "Autonomous Workspace" vision.
Technical Contribution & Design
- Demonstrate initiative and creativity in adding value to technical projects with minimum supervision.
- Implement solutions independently, performing analysis and executing on well-scoped features and components within Freestyle Orchestrator.
- Take initiative to identify areas of product improvement (code, test strategy, performance, and automation).
- Analyze the impact and resources of own ideas and solutions before implementation.
- Write good, secure, performant, and quality code on a regular basis, improving code quality and coverage in your area.

What will you bring to Omnissa?
- 3-5 years of software engineering experience.
- Good coding skills with a track record of contributing secure, performant, and quality code.
- Specialized technical expertise in at least one area, with growing breadth across IT subjects.
- Ability to work independently with some latitude, performing analysis and implementing solutions with minimum supervision.
- Understanding of modern engineering practices: CI/CD, automated testing, cloud-native architectures, secure SDLC.
- Good communication and collaboration skills; proactively facilitates teamwork.
- Demonstrates initiative, creativity, and a proactive approach to identifying and fixing problems.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with workflow engines, orchestration platforms, or device management solutions.
- Familiarity with Docker, Maven, Artifactory, and cloud deployment pipelines.

Compensation: The typical base salary for this role is between USD $120,675 – $201,125 per year and it may be eligible for participation in a corporate bonus program. Actual compensation offer may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, or other relevant factors.
