Join our agile development team dedicated to the development of ZEISS Inspect software. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our software capabilities.Together with other C++ Software Engineers you will design, develop new, optimize and maintain existing features for ZEISS Inspect using the C++ and Qt framework.Here’s what you can expect:

Be part of our Agile teams located in Poland and Germany
Implement innovative functionalities to advance our software in optical and tactile measuring technologies Involve in different aspects of software development including researching current solutions, developing concepts, designing, implementing final solution and sharing the knowledge with team members
Collaborate with a multi-national agile teams of software and hardware experts including UX designers, architects, QA engineers, application engineers

What we expect from you:

A completed degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering or related field,
A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software development with modern C++
Knowledge of other programming languages such as C# or Python
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
Solid understanding of software development principles, Clean Code guidelines and best practices
Experience in desktop application development
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket or similar platforms
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and keeping the goal of a user-friendly software solution in mind
Very good proficiency in English language, both spoken and written

Additional advantage will be:

Experience with multithreading, CUDA or OpenGL as well as Qt
Experience in industrial or scientific software development
High communication and teamwork skills
Experience with Agile development methodologies i.e. Scrum, Kanban
Basic knowledge of metrology
