About the Booking Experience Team:

As a member of the Booking Experience team, you will be part of a dedicated group focused on making Rover the easiest way to book quality pet care. Our mission is to enhance the experience of the pet parents using our services. We develop intuitive and efficient tools that enhance the user experience and help our customers book with ease. Our focus is on creating a seamless journey that helps pet parents quickly and confidently book with sitters who meet their specific requirements.

We're looking for Engineers who:

• Are able to take loose requirements, collaborate with others to figure out what needs to be done, and drive a project forward

• Are detail-oriented and have a desire to deeply understand complex technical systems
• Are excited to learn new technologies and contribute across the stack
• Are passionate about building a deep understanding of how Rover’s systems behave and use that insight to identify risks and opportunities

• Bring their own unique background to the team, adding fresh ideas and perspectives

Your Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a professional software developer.Experience developing web and/or mobile applications.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, frameworks, and challenges.
• Experience with different agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban/XP).

Your Bonus Skills:

• Professional experience with Python.Professional experience with ReactJS and/or React Native.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (like Playwright or Cypress)Familiarity with TDD and BDD.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog and Splunk.
• Experience with continuous integration/deployment tools.
