What Success Will Look Like
As a key member of our engineering team, you will:
- Design and build cutting-edge big data processing systems for both live streaming and offline data pipelines, enabling real-time insights and analytics at scale.
- Tackle complex engineering challenges in managing big data processing, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and flexibility to meet evolving business needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design, build, and launch innovative products that deliver measurable value to our users.
- Drive continuous improvement by optimizing existing systems and introducing new technologies to enhance performance and efficiency.
Who You Are & What You've Done:
- Educational Background: A BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven Experience: 1-5 years of hands-on experience as a software engineer in data area, with a track record of developing and delivering core product code.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in Big Data technologies focusing on Storage & OLAP areas, include but not limited to Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, OLAP (Druid / ClickHouse / Doris /StarRocks etc.) and Data Lake(Iceberg / Paimon / Hudi / Polaris etc.)
- Strong programming skills in Java / Scala /Python (language, libraries, debugging) or C++
- Experience building massively scalable & stable data infrastructure using both commercial and open-source tools.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and the ability to design and implement solutions that handle high-scale data processing.
- Foundational Knowledge:
- Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and design principles, especially in distributed systems.
- Familiarity with server testing and debugging methodologies to ensure robust and reliable systems
- Growth Mindset: systematic thinking, a passion for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and a strong desire to contribute to the success of a rapidly growing company.
- Communication Skills: Strong English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams and stakeholders.
