Our Ideal Software Engineer:
- Enjoys working on the back end and contributing to the architecture.
- Strong knowledge of deployment through environments (CI/CD) e.g. Github actions etc.
- Can work autonomously and isn't afraid to try new technologies,
- Doesn't back down from the challenges of scale.
- Works closely with designers, product owners, and other engineers, to implement new features.
- Cares just as much about the product itself as the technology that powers it, and is capable of both structuring and writing clean, maintainable, quality code.
- Enjoys working as part of a team
- Proactive / Self driven.
- Designs and builds robust, high performance and scalable applications from the ground up.
- Being an internal consultant - You are willing and able to step away from the keyboard and talk to stakeholders to discern what the business needs are.
- Works with other teams to troubleshoot/determine resolution for complex issues across team domains.
- Passionate about learning new technologies.

What you bring:
- Experience building microservices with containers, Scala and Reactive..
- BS or higher in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in a software development environment.
- Experience working with server-side applications.
- Excellent coding skills.
- Develop and deploy applications on AWS or other cloud solutions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of software engineering experience in a production environment
- Experience in security practices and standards.
- Experience in a fast paced, agile development environment .
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates ability to work cross-functionally including support and QA.
