  • Remote, Romania: This is a full time opportunity following a hybrid work model, combining remote work with regular attendance at our Bucharest office.

What you'll be doing:

  • Developing backend systems that turn device data into accurate vulnerability matches with exhaustive production impact analysis
  • Maintaining and operating the backend services and pipelines that power vulnerability detection, including deployments, monitoring, and incident response to keep them running reliably at scale
  • Onboarding new vulnerability data sources, each with its own data and integration requirements
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve detection accuracy and reliability
  • Investigating false positives and false negatives, tracing issues back to their root cause
  • Troubleshooting reported detection issues and implementing fixes efficiently


We're looking for people who have:

Must Have

  • 3+ years of software development experience, with hands-on exposure to live production environments
  • Strong proficiency in Python
  • Experience building and maintaining REST APIs (e.g.: Django, FastAPI)
  • Experience with database technologies and search or indexing datastores (e.g.: SQL, NoSQL, Elasticsearch)
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems and scalability principles
  • Proficiency using AI-assisted engineering tools to safely improve day-to-day productivity


Nice to Have:

  • Experience with vulnerability management, CVE/CPE data, or security-related tooling
  • Familiarity with Linux, macOS and Windows systems internals
  • Experience with Redis or comparable caching solutions
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
