Como Backend Developer II, te unirás al equipo central de la vertical de Merchants. Tu misión será diseñar y expandir los servicios que permiten a nuestros socios operar de manera eficiente. Trabajarás en un ecosistema de microservicios de alta disponibilidad donde la precisión de la información y la escalabilidad son fundamentales.Buscamos un perfil con bases sólidas en ingeniería de software que domine al menos uno de nuestros lenguajes core (Go, Java o Kotlin) y tenga la curiosidad para aprender o profundizar en los demás.
As part of Rappi, you will be responsible for:
- Diseñar, desarrollar y desplegar servicios backend escalables para la gestión de Aliados, asegurando alta disponibilidad.
- Construir APIs robustas (REST/gRPC) que conecten la plataforma de aliados con otros servicios core de la compañía.
- Diseñar esquemas de bases de datos eficientes y optimizar consultas para garantizar respuestas rápidas en el portal de socios.
- Escribir código limpio, mantenible y bien testeado (Unit/Integration Tests), participando activamente en la revisión de código del equipo.
- Diagnosticar y resolver cuellos de botella técnicos en entornos de producción

Dominio Técnico (minimo 1 de los siguientes)
- Go (Golang): Experiencia construyendo servicios concurrentes y de alto rendimiento.
- Java: Experiencia con Spring Boot y ecosistema JVM.
- Kotlin: Experiencia en desarrollo de backend moderno sobre la JVM.
Infraestructura y Persistencia
- Bases de Datos: Conocimiento sólido en SQL (PostgreSQL / MySQL). Deseable manejo de NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB).
- Arquitectura: Comprensión clara de arquitecturas orientadas a Microservicios.
- Mensajería: Experiencia trabajando con brokers de eventos como Kafka o RabbitMQ.
- Cloud & DevOps: Familiaridad con Docker, Kubernetes y entornos cloud (AWS/GCP)..
