About the Role
As a Backend Engineer in the Resolution Experience team, you’ll play a key role in helping Gojek Care deliver best-in-class customer support. You’ll design and build scalable, reliable, and maintainable backend systems, improving the stability and performance of services owned by the team. You’ll also help define engineering best practices, enhance operational excellence, and ensure service SLAs are consistently met.
What You Will Do
- Working closely with a team leads to delivering product features that enable efficient handling of queries for our internal users (customer service agents) and complaints raised by external users (customer, driver, and merchant)
- Design and develop highly scalable, available, reliable, secure and fault-tolerant systems
- Write code that’s clear, concise, performant, tested and easily understood by others
- Own the entire lifecycle of feature development, test, deployment, fixes and improvements
- Writing technical documents and providing technical training for end users if necessary
What You Will Need
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in development, testing and deployment
- Deep understanding of Microservices, programming languages like Golang, Clojure, Java and Ruby, deep understanding of SQL databases, be a good friend with Linux, Kafka, Redis, and RabbitMQ
- A passion for developing with Test Driven Development (TDD) methodology
- Verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience working with Agile methodologies, Test Engineering, and Automation

The Resolution Experience team is part of the Care Platform, focused on improving customer support quality, efficiency, and resolution time. We build tools that make the agent ticketing experience smoother, reduce friction, and improve resolution accuracy—ultimately ensuring customers receive faster and better support.
Our team consists of backend engineers and Salesforce engineers based in Jakarta who collaborate closely to solve complex customer service challenges at scale. We value ownership, continuous improvement, and collaboration. Outside of work, you’ll likely find us grabbing dinner, hanging out, or playing games together.
