Job Description

With Us You Will

  • Work with the team on features, understand the requirements, support manual QA to write test scenarios (steps), which can be reused, and used for automation.
  • Follow up requirement changes to existing features and update the scenarios and their step implementation.
  • Follow up automated test execution and fix automation related issues.

Must haves

  • Basic Linux commands
  • HTML basics
  • English language
  • Programming basics / familiar with at least one programming language GIT 

Should have some (preferably most) of the following

  • Makefile / bash knowledge
  • BDD, Gherkin
  • Docker
  • JavaScript / NodeJS
  • Selenium / Webdriver / Playwright
  • CI/CD tools (eg. Jenkins, Bamboo)
  • Agile methodologies

Nice to have

  • CodeceptJS, Allure, Mocha
  • Atlassian Tools
  • Kubernetes
  • Go (Golang)

Qualifications

What We Expect From You

  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or comparable experience.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in the Web development/Quality Assurance domain, focusing on Web/Native applications.
  • Proficiency in browser/UX principles, including the use of debugging tools, identifying console errors, and interpreting network responses.
  • Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Gherkin language for developing and understanding test cases/scripts.
  • In-depth knowledge of Test Management tools like Q-Test, HP ALM, and Project Management tools like JIRA, Confluence.
  • Understanding of query languages like JQL for report management.
  • Acquaintance with Software Testing Techniques such as Equivalence Partitioning, Boundary Value Analysis, Decision Table Testing, Test Execution Optimization Techniques, and Risk-Based Testing.
  • Familiarity with automation, including the ability to write scripts in Selenium or CodeceptJS with Cucumber, is an added advantage.
  • Essential soft skills include proactiveness, the ability to multitask, strong communication skills, and ownership at the product level to identify and report bugs, regardless of feature development stages.
