Software Engineer - Android

Job Overview:

We are in search of an experienced Android Developer for our mobile application development efforts. The ideal candidate will not only bring advanced coding skills but also offer strategic insights based on their experience in Android development.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead Application Development: Design, develop, and refine advanced applications for the Android platform, ensuring that they align with the company's objectives and standards.

• Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Android developers. Drive best practices in coding, design, and testing within the team.

• Architecture Design: Play a pivotal role in setting the architectural direction for mobile applications, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.

• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend teams to shape features, ensure seamless integration, and deliver exceptional user experiences.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with Android development trends and integrate the latest technologies and tools to ensure our applications stay ahead of the curve.

• Problem Solving: Dive deep into complex technical issues and challenges, finding optimal solutions while balancing time-to-market and technical debt.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in Android app development.

• Profound understanding of Android SDK, Kotlin, and modern Android development practices.

• Demonstrable experience with Android architecture patterns and components like MVVM, Jetpack, Dagger, and Retrofit.

• Strong experience with RESTful APIs and understanding of backend systems.

• Proficiency in code versioning tools, such as Git.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to think critically and systematically.
