At Truveta, we are building a next-generation analytics platform that enables researchers to securely derive insights from healthcare data, accelerate scientific discovery, and improve health outcomes.

We are seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and operate the platform services that power Truveta’s analytical experiences. In this role, you will develop scalable cloud services, APIs, distributed systems, and modern web applications, contributing across the full stack to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performance solutions.

You will work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to translate researcher needs into intuitive and scalable experiences. This role offers the opportunity to tackle challenging technical problems, influence the future of Truveta’s analytics platform, and make a meaningful impact on our mission of saving lives with data.

Work Areas: 

  • Build next-generation notebook experiences that enable researchers to efficiently explore, analyze, and derive insights from large-scale datasets.
  • Develop and evolve Python and R SDKs that empower researchers to perform scalable data analysis and accelerate scientific discovery.
  • Design and build technologies that enable researchers to create, customize, and share interactive dashboards for data visualization and insights.

Key Qualifications 

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience building, deploying, and operating scalable cloud services using .NET (C#) and/or Python.
  • Strong backend development experience with REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures on platforms such as Azure.
  • Working knowledge of modern frontend technologies and experience delivering end-to-end solutions in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience building developer tools, analytical applications, data platforms, or user-facing products for technical users is a plus.

  • The base pay for this position is $110,000 to $145,000. The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target. Pay is based on several factors including location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional compensation such as incentive pay and stock options.
