Software Engineer 2 - Linux/Bash/Python/MongoDB/Docker/Kubernetes/RabbitMQ/PostgreSQL

Captivation Software is looking for a mid level software engineer who shall be responsible for developing, sustaining, and troubleshooting the software suite of applications. Software development activities include implementation, testing, and integration with other COTS, GOTS, and FOSS products, packages, and libraries.
RequirementsSecurity Clearance:
- Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Experience using the Linux CLI
- Experience developing scripts using Bash
- Recent Python (3.x) software development experience
- Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containers
- Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI
- Familiar with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
- Familiar with Helm Charts to deploy containerized services on Kubernetes
- Familiar with Messaging Frameworks including RabbitMQ
- Familiar with IaC principles, methodologies, and tools such as Ansible
- Experience with Git Source Control System
- Experience with SQL databases including PostgreSQL
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)

- Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
- Up to 20% 401k contribution (No Matching Required and Vested from Day 1)
- Above Market Hourly Rates

Skills Required
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three years of relevant software engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five years of relevant software engineering experience
- Seven years of relevant software engineering experience
