*OVERVIEW

The Software Development Manager leads a team of software developers, overseeing the entire software development lifecycle. This includes planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software products.

*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical guidance and expertise to the development team.

• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software development.

• Make informed decisions regarding technology stack, architecture, and design patterns.

• Review code and ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability

. • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in software development processes

. • Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, business analysts, and other departments, to gather requirements and understand business needs

• Implement and maintain automated testing processes and tools.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and guidelines.

• Monitor and analyze software performance metrics and address any issues proactively.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, design, and implement software solutions to support development.

• Oversee the development process and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.

• Implement procedures for code quality and review to maintain high engineering standards.

• Identify areas for improvement within our existing systems and processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

*REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience of 10+ in software development, with a focus on leadership and management roles.

• Strong technical background in software engineering, with proficiency in programming languages, frameworks, and development tools.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage teams and projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.

• Knowledge of software development best practices, including CI/CD, DevOps, and version control systems

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years proven experience in software development with leadership/management experience
  • Strong technical background with proficiency in programming languages, frameworks, and development tools
