CSG is expanding its teams in Brazil. These teams are responsible for delivering new features for CSG’s cloud based digital BSS Ascendon Platform. One exciting opportunity is for a Software Development Manager with experience in managing development teams to join our growing organization.
As a leader in a dynamic agile environment, you will champion a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and team empowerment. We seek a manager with a proven track record of guiding teams to deliver scalable, maintainable, enterprise-grade products, and who brings a forward-thinking, pragmatic approach to driving quality and technological excellence.

We are looking for a Manager of Software Development who will:

• Lead software development teams, including mentoring and performance management

• Develop operational plans that align with functional strategies and corporate standards

• Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, QA, and Architecture

• Lead delivery execution, address cross-team challenges and resolve dependencies

• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies

• Ensure adherence to coding standards, quality assurance processes, and security policies

• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience

• 2+ years of managerial experience in software development

• Familiarity with cloud-native development, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices

• Basic understanding of AI technologies and their application in software development

• Budget management and strategic planning capabilities

• Experience with Agile project management, software development lifecycle, and risk management

• Experience building and leading engineering teams

• Experience working in a global or distributed team environment

• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work in a CLT contract position

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment
