Duties & Responsibilities:
Capture a great opportunity to build your real-world SW Development skills as an intern at Viavi Solutions. Be part of a professional team to design, implement, test and debug SW that validates critical networks worldwide. Your code may involve integration within a range of hardware designs, and up through the graphical user interface. You may also participate in design and architecture reviews with our product line management team to meet customer needs and future product enhancements.
Requirements:
- Completion of at least two years of undergraduate education toward a BSEE/BSCE/BSCS
- Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and testing in Python, C/C++ (or equivalent OO) software
- Demonstrated knowledge of software engineering design concepts
- Experience in Linux development environment is preferred
- Experience in creation of networked applications is preferred
- Experience with hardware devices is preferred
