Software Development Engineering - Advisor

TITLE:                                 Software Development Engineering - Advisor

EMPLOYER:                               Fiserv Solutions, LLC

LOCATION:                                 Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the US subject to authorization from management)

DUTIES:                                      Develop and maintain web applications ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices. Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Design and implement responsive user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks. Write clean and efficient Java code to build scalable and robust back-end systems, including APIs, services, and data manipulation. Integrate front-end components with back-end systems, ensuring seamless communication and optimal performance. Implement and maintain database structures using SQL or NoSQL databases. Perform thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix issues, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, bug-free applications. Collaborate with team members in code reviews, pair programming sessions, and knowledge sharing activities.

REQUIREMENTS:                     Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and 7 years in any job title involving experience building enterprise-level web applications. Prior experience must include: 5 years working with React or Angular; 5 years working with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; 2 years working with Java and Spring Boot; Developing and analyzing backend and frontend modules for web-based applications; Developing specifications and performance requirements for front-end applications; and Identifying architectural differences to integrate solutions across multiple platforms.
