DUTIES: Develop solutions and serve as a COBOL analyst on online and batch applications that support merchant solutions as part of the Posting and Billing application for South Platform. Design and develop computer systems or programs based on user defined requirements. Manage code, programs, and tests, as well as analyze new application software. Implement client programming projects by applying knowledge of how technology relates to business, market and industry to support the needs of business. Develop customized solutions to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements and business goals. Provide system and application support for a multi-architecture applications including mainframe and end-to-end application delivery. Design and develop automation solutions to improve current process and transform manual repetitive tasks. Responsible for assigning resources and delegating tasks to meet project deliverables.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field and 4 years in any job title involving software development experience in enterprise environments. Prior experience must include: 4 years supporting large-scale business critical systems; 4 years working in release management, UAT, and production support cycles; 4 years of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile delivery practices; 4 years working with mainframe and distributed systems, including batch processing and file-based integrations; 4 years working with SQL and relational databases; 4 years working with version control tools including Gitlab and Endeavor; 3 years working with CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and controlled production releases; 2 years working with Java object-oriented programming language; and 2 years working in Unix/Linux environments.
