TITLE:                                          Software Development Engineering - Advisor II

EMPLOYER:                               Fiserv Solutions, LLC

LOCATION:                                 600 Vel R. Phillips Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53203 (and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. subject to authorization from management)

DUTIES:                                      Lead and participate in design, development, testing, and implementation of large and architecturally significant applications. Provide estimates and work plans for implementation and rollout; enhance software delivery processes and adhere to company standards and best practices; and build partnerships across the application, business, and infrastructure teams. Develop programming specifications; design, code, and unit test application code using best practices; debug and troubleshoot software defects; and participate in code reviews. Create technical documentation and ensure that documentation remains current throughout all phases.

REQUIREMENTS:                     Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and 7 years in any job title involving server-side Java development experience using design patterns. Prior experience must include: 5 years working on Oracle, DB2 or MSSQL server; 5 years developing applications and services using Spring Boot, Gitlab, and Maven; 5 years developing software using Agile software development methodology; 5 years leading software design and development; 5 years supporting applications in a production environment; 2 years mentoring junior staff members; and Developing applications for Azure or AWS.
