Software Development Engineering - Advisor II

TITLE: Software Development Engineering - Advisor II

EMPLOYER: Fiserv Solutions, LLC

LOCATION: 600 N. Vel R. Phillips Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53203 (and various unanticipated locations throughout the US subject to authorization from management)

DUTIES: Establish Snowflake Governance across several business units. Design, develop, implement and maintain ETL/ELT data platform solutions and related data models. Leverage BI tools to create analytical insights for business-critical flows. Collaborate with engineering, product development and test engineers to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data solutions. Optimize data structures, optimize database performance, and rewrite queries for optimization to ensure efficiency and scalability.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications or a related field and 7 years in any job title involving data engineering experience. Prior experience must include: 5 years developing applications with MySQL databases; 5 years of Java development; 3 years developing applications with Snowflake databases; 3 years building data pipelines and data models; 3 years developing applications with data warehouse architectures; Working with Software Development Lifecycles including Scrum; Writing efficient SQL queries including multi-table joins; and Python scripting.
