About the Team

The Illuminate team is delivering the new AI focused experience for Workday customers, and most importantly their employees. Illuminate is at the forefront of Workday’s AI & Agentic initiatives with the objective to deliver and integrate Agentic capabilities across the entire Workday platform, including the widespread adoption and AI powered Assist features, rapid creation and deployment of Workday-native AI Agents, and the delivering Workday’s Agent System of Record.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Software Development Engineer for the Workday Agent System of Record team, who’ll closely partner with Senior Engineers, Inbound & Outbound Product Managers and Functional Architects, to explore and design Workday’s Agentic AI solutions for operating & managing our customer’s growing Digital Workforce.

As a Software Development Engineer your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with Sr Engineers on technical requirements and design alignment, creating shared understanding, vision & goals.

• Present ideas and concepts to Product & Engineering leadership audiences, communicating design concepts & considerations in context of product functional requirements.

• Work closely with the product team to prototype and iterate on design experiments.

• Closely mentor junior engineers, helping them understand product requirements and design solutions, while encouraging them to achieve their career aspirations & goals.

• Leading through example with technical excellence, recognized as a thoughtful & inspirational engineer.

Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $106,400 CAD - $159,600 CAD
