Summary: As a Software Development Engineer, you will analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. You will perform maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work. Your typical day will involve analyzing requirements, designing software solutions, writing code, and conducting testing to ensure the quality of the application. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs. - Design and develop software solutions based on the requirements. - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. - Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality of the software. - Collaborate with QA teams to ensure proper testing and bug fixing. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. - Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends. - Mentor junior team members and provide guidance and support. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Purchasing (MM PO). - Strong understanding of SAP MM module and its integration with other modules. - Experience in analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions. - Hands-on experience in SAP MM PO configuration and customization. - Knowledge of SAP MM PO best practices and industry standards. - Experience in troubleshooting and resolving SAP MM PO related issues. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP Materials Management (MM) module. - Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation projects. - Knowledge of SAP integration with other modules like FI, CO, and SD. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in SAP Purchasing (MM PO). - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.15 years full time education
