Summary
As an Oracle CC&B Developer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customized solutions within the Oracle Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) platform. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Oracle CC&B modules, a solid foundation in Oracle technologies, and the ability to tailor the solution to meet business requirements for utility clients.

Roles & Responsibilities:
-Solid understanding of Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF), including expertise in customizing and developing for Oracle CC&B. Experience in developing UI Maps, BPA scripts, service scripts, and business objects.
-Solution Design and Development: Design and develop custom solutions within Oracle CC&B, focusing on key modules such as Billing, Collections, Customer Management, and Meter Data Management. Customize CC&B components to meet client-specific requirements, including UI Maps, BPA scripts, service scripts, and business objects (BOs).
-Configure and extend Oracle CC&B applications and modules as needed to enhance customer care and billing processes. Customize business processes and workflows to ensure they meet user expectations and business needs.
-Leverage SOA-based integration techniques to integrate Oracle CC&B with other enterprise systems and third-party applications. Ensure smooth and effective data exchange between systems.
-Develop and maintain PL/SQL scripts for data manipulation, reporting, and process automation. Optimize SQL queries and scripts for performance.
-Work on data migration strategies to ensure seamless transfer of data from legacy systems into Oracle CC&B, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
-Conduct unit and system testing to ensure the developed solution meets functional and technical specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and defects in Oracle CC&B and related systems.
-Maintain clear, detailed technical documentation for all CC&B customizations, configurations, and integrations. Ensure all solutions are documented according to internal standards.
-Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and project teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality solutions. Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members as needed.
-Provide post-implementation support and maintenance for Oracle CC&B solutions.

Professional & Technical Skills:
-Experience with SOA-based integrations, including working with web services and other integration techniques to connect Oracle CC&B to other enterprise systems.
-Proficient in writing optimized SQL queries and scripts for data retrieval, reporting, and automation within the Oracle environment.
-Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues within Oracle CC&B and related applications.
-Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
-Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with business users, functional consultants, and other technical team members.
-Knowledge of utility-specific business processes such as billing, customer service, and meter data management.

Additional Information
-12+ years of experience in Oracle CC&B design and development, including hands-on experience with configuration, customization, and integration of Oracle CC&B.
-Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
-This position is based at our Kolkata office.
