Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Software development of application using C, C++, Python laguages and web-server based development
- Software deployment of application using gitpipeline
- Scripting work with regards to application support
- Participating in feature discussion and code review
- Unit testing of the developed application
- Configuring and supporting backend systems for normal operations of SLING channels
- Working with other teams and helping them with clarifications as part of coordinated support operations
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in a techical field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2-4 years experience in software development
Skills and Qualifications
- Programming knowledge with respect to C, C++, Python
- Scripting knowledge in shell, PERL
- JIRA ticketing and bug tracking system knowledge
- Basic knowledge in digital video/audio and in Digital Rights Management (DRM) of media services
- Experience with ffmpeg or other video libraries
- Ability to independently develop test cases for unit testing
- Good communication in form of speaking and writing
- GIT pipeline operation knowledge with ability to work with YAML scripts
- Curious to learn new AI domain in order to help in the planning for future usage
