Position Summary
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web and mobile applications using Playwright, Selenium, and Cypress for functional, end-to-end, and regression testing.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Development, Infrastructure, and Operations teams to ensure high-quality releases.
- Lead defect triage, root cause analysis, risk assessments, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Conduct cross-browser and responsive UI testing to ensure a consistent user experience across platforms and devices.
- Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, stability, and execution efficiency.
- Ensure testing complies with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Medicare, and other applicable standards.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.) with clear quality gates.
- Ensure test traceability, coverage visibility, and alignment with release processes.
- Leverage agentic AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) to accelerate test authoring, self-healing test maintenance, and defect analysis.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of software testing experience, including
- 2+ years of relevant automation testing experience
- 2+ years of hands-on development with JavaScript-based automation frameworks, including Playwright, Cypress, WebdriverIO, Jasmine, or Protractor
- 2+ years of experience with API automation and REST API testing using Postman and RestAssured
- Experience creating and maintaining test scripts, along with custom-designed testing tools and frameworks
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript
- Experience with BDD/Cucumber for QA delivery
- Hands-on experience using agentic AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar) to generate, refactor, and debug test code and to streamline QA workflows
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Pharmacy, Clinical Systems, or other healthcare domains
- Experience working within an Engineering Center of Excellence (tools and processes)
- Strong team player who takes ownership and communicates effectively
- Working knowledge of the healthcare domain is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and strategic critical-thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with prompt engineering or building AI-assisted test automation pipelines
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Highschool diploma plus 4 years relevant work experience)

The typical pay range for this role is:
$72,100.00 - $144,200.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
