- DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to validate application functionality and data integrity.
- Perform functional, regression, and data validation testing for BT/ST workflows, including scenarios, calculations, and reporting outputs.
- Create and maintain test cases and test scenarios, ensuring traceability from requirements to execution.
- Validate large datasets using SQL and backend testing techniques across ETL pipelines and batch processes.
- Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to understand requirements and refine test coverage.
- Track defects, support troubleshooting, and contribute to root cause analysis and resolution.
- Support continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines and adhere to SDLC, risk, and control standards.
- Contribute to building end‑to‑end business scenarios aligned with risk processes and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in software testing and/or test automation
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Talents Needed for Success:
Technical & Automation Skills
- Hands‑on experience in test automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium or equivalent).
- Working knowledge of programming/scripting languages (Python, Java, or similar).
- Strong experience in SQL and database validation; familiarity with ETL/data pipeline testing.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket).
Domain & Testing Expertise:
- Good understanding of functional and regression testing methodologies.
- Experience with data‑intensive applications and ability to validate complex outputs.
- Familiarity with Back Testing and Stress Testing concepts (preferred).
Professional Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Understanding of Agile and software development lifecycle practices.
