What You’ll Contribute
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for new and existing features across unit, integration, and system levels.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Ensure codebase stability by integrating automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Monitor and report on testing progress, issues, and performance using dashboards or reporting tools.
- Collaborate with the DevOps and QA teams to maintain and troubleshoot test environments.
- Effectively communicate test strategies, plans, and results to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Contribute to improving the overall quality of the product through proactive testing strategies and performance testing.
What We’re Seeking
- 2 to 5 years of experience in automated QA testing or a related development role, with scripting skills for automated test cases.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience with test automation frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, Jest, Mocha, and Pytest.
- Familiarity with GitHub CI/CD pipelines for integrating automated tests into the development lifecycle.
- Proficient with Git and JIRA.
- Strong skills in debugging complex systems, performing root-cause analysis, and providing actionable insights.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.
- AWS cloud experience and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) are a plus.
- Knowledge of setting up testing environments in virtualized or cloud-based platforms is nice to have.
- API testing, JMeter, and analyzing system performance and bottlenecks is advantageous.
