The Autodesk Delivery Platform is a modern, scalable system that Autodesk customers use to access their product subscriptions. The platform comprises key cloud services, publishing systems, desktop clients, components, and frameworks to package and deliver all Autodesk products. We are seeking a motivated Software Development Engineer in Test to join us in Bangalore, India. You will be part of a diverse, smart, and driven team of engineers. You will be responsible for quality assurance and ensure that the released software meets quality expectations. You will be responsible for building, owning, and maintaining test automation frameworks for various components of the Delivery Platform and will use agile practices to ensure rapid, iterative execution.
Responsibilities

Advocate for quality, test automation tools, and best practices

Develop test strategy and end-to-end use cases for each release

Work with developers and the platform team to ensure good test automation coverage
-
Contribute to manual regression testing for related components and releases.

Be involved in all aspects of development and Agile ceremonies

Understand and contribute to design discussions
-
Design, develop, and debug new features as needed
-
Document and present your ideas and solutions accurately and thoroughly
-
Demonstrate a willingness to learn new tools and technologies
Minimum Qualifications
-
3-5 years of software engineering and automation experience
-
BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field
-
Strong experience in building UI/API test automation frameworks using various tools
-
Flexibility to overlap for 1-2 hours with the US team (PST timezone) or be available as needed for sprint ceremonies and important team meetings
-
Experience developing UI test automation using JavaScript, Cypress.io, ReactJS, Mocha, Chai JS
-
Experience writing unit/API tests using Python, Java, JUnit, TestNG, and RestAssured
-
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and various test integrations
-
Experience using performance tests like JMeter, BlazeMeter
-
Experience with microservices and micro frontend architecture

Experience with Agile software development practices

Experience working with AWS technologies

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
