Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for ensuring the quality of high-performance, user-friendly web applications, and a deep understanding of test automation frameworks and strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript, Cypress, or Playwright.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Develop and execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
Analyze and resolve technical and application testing issues.
Adhere to high-quality testing principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget.
Debug and report issues across services and multiple levels of the stack with an eye toward improving maintainability and reliability over the long term.
Improve testing standards, tooling, and processes.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.

Required Skills

5+ years experience with Cypress E2E testing
Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills
Jest unit testing experience
Test coverage tools (NYC/Istanbul)
API testing experience
Test automation best practices
CI/CD integration experience

Strongly Preferred:

PDF/document testing experience
Test data management
Parallel test execution
Test reporting tools (Mochawesome)
Custom test utilities development

Nice to Have:

Firebase testing experience
Visual regression testing
Performance testing
Security testing
Legal tech domain experience
Rich text editor testing experience
