Your Impact
We are looking for a capable and hands-on Software Development Engineer to support our Mobile Engineering efforts. This position will be under an Employer of Record (EoR) agreement. In this role, you will:
- Design and build mobile solutions interface with physical devices and peripherals.
- Contribute to apps supporting badge-based access, visitor kiosks, and integrated security.
- Work across Android, iOS, and cross-platform frameworks.
- Collaborate with backend systems within Acre Identity’s broader architecture.
What You’ll Do
- Develop applications using Xamarin, MAUI, Kotlin, and Flutter.
- Integrate mobile apps with badge readers, printers (Zebra, Brother, Star), and cameras.
- Contribute to testing and optimizing mobile performance across device families.
- Implement secure and reliable connections with backend APIs.
- Collaborate with QA and Product to ensure smooth integrations
What You'll Bring
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 3+ years of experience in mobile development.
- Proficiency in Xamarin or MAUI, with familiarity in Kotlin or Flutter.
- Experience integrating peripherals via USB, Bluetooth, or network APIs.
- Understanding of mobile UI/UX and hardware compatibility testing.
Bonus points if you bring:
- Exposure to RFID, NFC, or barcode scanning technology.
- Experience with kiosk UI patterns and embedded security controls.
- Experience working with visitor management, access control, or identity platforms.
