Software Development Engineer Lead

Ascendon is expanding its teams in Londrina, Brazil. These teams are responsible for delivering new features for CSG’s cloud based digital BSS Ascendon Platform. One exciting opportunity is for a Software Development Engineer Senior with product development experience to join our growing teams.

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer Lead who will:

• You will participate in code reviews, design reviews, or other forms of team quality procedures.
• You will work well within a team environment using Agile methods.
• You will take part in recruitment activities.
• You will continuously improve assigned areas by applying scripting, automation, or application packaging.
• You will support the platform in customer-facing environments, including troubleshooting issues and monitoring the system.
• You should be able to independently solve complex problems related to interconnected software components.
• You should be able to mentor and guide junior team members.
• You should be willing to learn from and coach those around you.

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who has:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or technically related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of experience in software development and software support/maintenance.
• Experience in C#, .NET, SQL querying, schema design, Web Services, xUnit, and ASP.NET Core.
• Relational and non-relational database experience. Postgres preferred.
• Serverless microservice architecture exposure.
• Experience with cloud providers, such as Amazon Web Services.
• Infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform preferred).
• Experience integrating with external APIs.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CICD processes.
• A proficiency in English in a business environment.
