ABOUT THE ROLE

FOX Corporation is looking for an iOS Engineer for its digital Product Engineering iOS team. The candidate should have a strong working knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and native iOS application development Skills.

Our iOS team is responsible for developing and maintaining a suite of high-performance applications that serve millions of users worldwide. We leverage the latest technologies and frameworks to ensure our apps are not only functional but also intuitive and engaging. With a strong emphasis on code quality, scalability, and user-centric design, the team is committed to delivering products that meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

As an SDE-2 iOS Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our iOS applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly mobile solutions.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop advanced applications for the iOS platform.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features.

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues along with writing unit tests for robustness

• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

• Good understanding of design patterns. 
   

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 3+ years of professional experience in iOS development.

• Strong proficiency in Swift and experience with SwiftUI based applications.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.

• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.

• Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools.

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.

• Experience with continuous integration and deployment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
