Job Title
Join Amadeus as a Backend Software Development Engineer and help build reliable, scalable solutions that power the travel industry. You’ll work with modern technologies, collaborate across teams, and contribute to innovative products that enhance the traveler experience.
In This Role You’llGather user requirements for new or upgraded software solutions and ensure clarity of needs.
Design and develop backend solutions using Amadeus standards, including database implementation.
Collaborate with product managers and support teams to validate products and resolve issues.
Promote best practices, maintain clear documentation, and optimize software performance.
Work with cross-functional teams to address system-wide challenges and implement preventive measures.
6-9 years of experience in backend development with Kotlin, Java, and Spring frameworks.
Knowledge of SQL and experience with unit and integration testing (including Test Containers).
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
Experience with message queues (e.g., Apache Kafka, Google PubSub, RabbitMQ) and exposure to Agile methodologies.
Bonus: Experience in travel or airline technology and familiarity with Amadeus APIs or airline reservation systems.
