About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and implementation of new features for one of our core application modules. In this role, you will collaborate with engineers, product owners, and business teams to understand requirements, design scalable and maintainable solutions, and ensure security by design. Performance is critical to providing a seamless user experience, and we expect you to optimize for efficiency and speed.


The ideal candidate will also provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions. A strong focus on test coverage, CI/CD best practices, and production support is essential. Given our decentralized team structure, the ability to work effectively across multiple time zones is required.

What You'll Do

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure software solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine requirements.
  • Optimize performance to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers, promoting best practices.
  • Ensure high test coverage and follow CI/CD processes.
  • Provide production support and maintain system reliability.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, architectures, and coding best practices.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.


What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working in an Agile framework (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Excellent communication and expectation management skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to high-quality, maintainable code.


Technical Expertise:

  • Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud computing (AWS preferred).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and production deployment best practices.
