Job Overview
In this role, you will collaborate with team leader, scrum Master, data analysts, and developers to build technology solutions for Equity applications. You should have strong understanding of Core Java, JSP, Spring, SQL, Component based architectures and create scalable, flexible technical solutions. You would support existing systems, study their enterprise complexities and develop/implement better systems with modern software development practices. Developing good understanding of existing systems on other platforms and its database is a beginning step.

Outline of Duties and Responsibilities

• Hands-on development will be an integral part of the responsibilities.
• Develop areas of continuous and automated deployment.
• Should be able to learn new technologies and practice innovative frameworks
• Follow best practices like estimation, planning, reporting and improvement brought to processes in everyday work.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a similar field.
• 3 - 5 Years of experience.
• Full Stack Developer.
• Experience with AI-augmented development tools like GitHub Copilot and a passion for leveraging AI in software engineering.
• Hands-on in Java/ Web-services / Spring / Spring Boot / react JS or any front-end framework.
• Very Strong knowledge of databases and hands on MS SQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL and NoSQL DB DynamoDB/MongoDB.
• Experienced with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Be aware of activity in the open-source world. Contributing back to open source is a big plus.
• Participation in full life-cycle system development with teams of developers, analysts, and testers.
• Experience with modern development practices in areas of Product design, Requirement Analysis, Test Driven Development, Automation & Unit Testing, in a product development environment.
• Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Familiarity with architecture trade-off analysis methods and domain-driven design preferred.

Working Conditions
The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
