Job Title
As a Senior Software Development Engineer 3 , you will play an important part in designing, building, and supporting new solutions for Amadeus’ operational and product domains.
This position values your ability to work independently and guide others, including mentoring less experienced engineers. We encourage candidates with approximately 7 years of relevant experience to apply.
Analyze user requirements for new or improved software solutions and guide feasibility studies for complex projects.
Prepare and present fully documented proposals to stakeholders.
Create and build technical architecture for server-side functionalities and reusable components.
Develop APIs for essential infrastructure components and participate in all stages of development: requirement analysis, coding, testing, and validation.
Coordinate development activities involving multiple engineers, maintain project plans, and ensure proper reporting and follow-up.
Experience with C++ (including modern features like C++11/14), Standard Template Library (STL), and multithreading.
Proficient in Linux and macOS operating systems.
Skilled in using Git, Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as Visual Studio and VS Code, and databases like Oracle, Couchbase, and MongoDB.
Familiar with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS) and Python scripting for automation, debugging, and optimization; experience with Azure Cloud is a plus.
Demonstrates good problem-solving and debugging capabilities, can work independently and guide small teams, and communicates effectively with clear documentation skills.
