💼 Software Development Engineer (Microservices | Spring Boot | REST | Cloud‑Native)

🔧 What you’ll do

• Lead & mentor a team of Java developers; run regular code reviews and foster a collaborative, learning culture.
• Design & build cloud‑native, microservices‑based solutions using Java and Spring Boot; develop robust REST APIs.
• Own the lifecycle from requirements to design, implementation, testing, and release; champion quality and coding standards.
• Raise the bar on performance, security, reliability, and scalability (observability, resilience patterns, load/perf best practices).
• Partner with product to shape scope, manage timelines, surface risks early, and deliver value iteratively.
• Enable CI/CD and modern DevOps practices to speed up safe, repeatable releases.

🧠 What you’ll bring

• 6+ years in Java development, including 2+ years leading or coaching engineers.
• Strong Java and OOP skills; deep experience with Spring Boot/Spring Cloud and RESTful services.
• Hands‑on with cloud‑native architecture (CNA), containers (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with API design & integration; familiarity with secure coding and performance tuning.
• Clear communication, problem‑solving mindset, and a passion for mentoring.

➕ Nice to have

• Experience with Azure (or another major cloud).
• Exposure to DevOps tooling (Jenkins, Git) and agile ways of working.
• Knowledge of both relational and NoSQL databases.
