About the team / Role
The Software Development Engineer (P2) is an "Integrated Engineer" responsible for the hands-on coding, testing, and deployment of the 10-4 App features. You will work across the full stack—touching cloud services, mobile interfaces, and automated testing suites—to ensure our solutions meet firm obligations and customer needs.
How you'll make an impact
- Full-Stack Development: Write and maintain code for cloud-based applications, leveraging platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google App Engine.
- Mobile Implementation: Build and test applications for Android and iOS using relevant SDKs and cross-platform tools to ensure a consistent user experience.
- Quality Assurance: Utilize automated testing tools and traditional QA approaches to evaluate application audits and ensure quality standards are met before deployment.
- API & Scripting: Integrate cloud applications via APIs; manage pre-scripting and post-scripting tasks to ensure seamless data flow across the 10-4 ecosystem.
- Documentation: Create technical documentation to assist team members in solving potential issues and maintaining system integrity.
Experience you will bring
- Core Engineering: Solid understanding of software design, coding, and testing processes.
- Cloud/Mobile Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud storage (S3/EBS) and mobile development environments (iOS/Android SDKs).
- Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work with project managers and analysts to translate functional requirements into technical reality.
