Design, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable user-facing features and interactive UI components using React.js (and modern TypeScript), translating designs into polished, accessible, and performant code.
Own end-to-end feature delivery: frontend UI + supporting APIs/services.
Develop secure, performant RESTful APIs and microservices (primarily in Java/Spring Boot; Go experience is a strong plus) to power both internal systems and client-facing applications.
Design data models, write optimized SQL queries, and manage integrations with relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
Identify bottlenecks, debug complex issues across the full stack, and optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code (unit + integration) using tools such as Jest/React Testing Library, JUnit, Mockito, etc.
Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers in an Agile/Scrum environment to ship high-quality iterations.
3+ years of professional software engineering experience with significant hands-on work on both frontend and backend (frontend-heavy recent experience preferred).
Strong, production-level expertise in React.js (functional components, Hooks, modern state management — Redux Toolkit / Zustand / Context, routing, performance optimisation). Solid TypeScript experience is highly preferred.
Solid understanding of core web fundamentals (HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript or modern JavaScript/ES6+) and ability to build responsive, accessible, high-quality UIs.
Hands-on experience with Java (11+) and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA/Hibernate) or equivalent backend experience in Go. Ability to design and implement production APIs and services is required.
Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with microservice-oriented architectures.
Strong proficiency with relational databases and SQL; familiarity with NoSQL is a plus.
Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket).
