Designs, implements, maintains, enhances, tests, and supports software in DevOps team

This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for:

• Develop, test, and rollout software applications for use by the internal Molecular Imaging R&D organization
• Work with internal stakeholders (both software and non-software) to understand requirements and communicate possible implementation scenarios
• Develop proof of concept prototypes for software developer workflows, including exploration of Azure DevOps Services / Git, Artifactory, and other DevOps tools
• Work with teams across time zones (Knoxville, Hoffman Estates, Germany, and India)
• Work with TFS and develop in Microsoft developer environment

• Experience with Continuous Integration and developing of its infrastructure
• Experience with Build infrastructure in the cloud environment.
• Experience leading and coaching engineers
• Experience and interest in the medical domain

Required skills to have for the success of this role

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• Demonstrated proficiency in C#. Other programming languages like Java and angular are a plus.
• 0- 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Cloud environment development (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Ability to work with stakeholders to define and understand requirements, propose implementation ideas, and deliver a customer-centric solution within a defined schedule
• Ability to work in an Agile framework for a team that is working on multiple simultaneous projects
• Self-starter who can learn on-the-fly and quickly learn the existing R&D processes and tools that are utilized for new product development at Siemens Molecular Imaging
• Preferred candidate would have experience in healthcare, or another FDA regulated environment
• Excellent communication skills

The base pay range for this position is

Min $74,200 - Max $111,200

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
