We are especially focused on integrating artificial intelligence across all aspects of our daily work-including software development, testing, and troubleshooting-to drive innovation, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality. We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us as Software Developer.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building, testing and operating LLM-based solutions in production and designing scalable AI platforms on Kubernetes. This role combines technical capability with AI transformation leadership across DevOps, CI/CD, and enterprise engineering ecosystems.
What you will do
- Development & Testing
- Develop production-grade software, unit tests, and automated test software for ESOA - Ericsson Service Orchestration and Assurance product.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered during testing, contributing to continuous product improvement.
- Integration & Review
- Participate in software integration testing in the lab-independently and as part of a team.
- Review and provide feedback on software designs and test plans to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Design and scale AI-native enterprise platforms using LLMs, RAG architectures, agentic AI workflows, knowledge graphs, and persona-driven AI systems.
- Build and operate model serving and inference platforms on Kubernetes (e.g., KServe, Seldon, BentoML or similar).
- Design ML pipelines and orchestration using Kubeflow, MLflow, Airflow, and model registries.
- Implement hallucination mitigation, grounding strategies, and AI evaluation frameworks.
- Establish AI monitoring, data drift detection, and Responsible AI governance practices.
- Design secure, multi-cloud AI solutions across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Drive AI roadmap planning, business case development, and executive-level technical presentations.
- Design Cloud Native & AI Native CI/CD pipelines using GitOps and tooling like ArgoCD, Flux, Jenkins, Tekton, GitLab CI, Spinnaker.)
- Build highly performant and observable microserives using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger/Zipkin, ELK/EFK.
- Using databases like Cassandra, Postgres, Oracle and EDM to handle data at scale.
- Build AI tools that improve development, test and release productivity using Amazon Kiro, Amazon bedrock, Amazon agent core, LangChain, LangFuse and LangGraph
The skills you bring
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Up to 5 years of experience-or fresh out of school and ready to learn.
- Proficiency in python, with a foundational understanding of operating systems.
- Basic knowledge of Linux as a development environment and a willingness to grow within it.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively.
- A genuine curiosity and interest in artificial intelligence and its applications in software development and testing.
- Strong interest and experience working with Ericsson Approved AI-tools such as AWS-Q/Kiro, Agents.
- Familiarity with modern development tools such as GIT, Container and Cloud Technologies (Kubernetes, Cloud.)

Preferred Qualifications
These aren't required, but they'll help you ramp up faster:
- Experience or coursework with the GitLab build environment and CI/CD test infrastructure.
- Understanding of Linux kernel development, Python, shell scripting, and Java.
- Knowledge of Git and code review tools like Gerrit.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in applying AI techniques to software engineering challenges.
- OSS/BSS domain knowledge (intent based orchestration exposure is a plus).
- Experience integrating AI into CI/CD, regression automation, and DevOps workflows.
- Familiarity with vector databases, knowledge graphs, and AI orchestration frameworks.

Your Pay
The salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
The salary range for this position is
• Mississauga,ON: $85,000- $111,300
Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Your Financial Security
We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. Ericsson's Group Retirement & Savings Program offers an automatic 2% company contribution into the Pension Plan. Ericsson also offers a 50% match of employee's contribution into the Registered Retirement Savings Plan, up to 8% of the employee's contribution (maximum of 4% match). This leads to a total company contribution potential of 6%. Employees will also basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage at two-times annual base pay at no cost, as well as short-term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson's Stock Purchase Plan.
Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 18 days of accrued vacation, at least 3personal days, minimum 10 holidays, 1 volunteer day, and sick days. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 10 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
