At BEUMER Group in Aarhus, we’re looking for a Software Developer to join our dynamic team of 30+ engineers. You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering intelligent software solutions that keep luggage and parcels moving efficiently through some of the world’s busiest airports and logistics centres.
What you’ll do
- Contribute to software projects ranging from quick-turnaround tasks to large-scale, multi-developer initiatives.
- Design, develop, and optimize backend systems, GUIs, databases, and algorithms for high-performance sortation equipment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with global teams to integrate software with mechanical and electronic systems.
- Balance innovation with practicality, delivering robust solutions that meet real-world operational demands.
- Own the full development lifecycle—from architecture and implementation to testing, deployment and commissioning.
What you bring to the job
- Experience in software development, ideally in complex or distributed systems.
- Experience in Java, and preferably in one or more of the following: C#, HTML5, SQL.
- Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, modeling techniques, and QA principles.
- A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working in cross-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- A passion for building reliable, scalable, and maintainable software.
