About the Opportunity

Due to our continued growth, SSI (ShipConstructor Software Inc.) is currently seeking to fill a Software Developer position in our Product Development department in Victoria, BC. The successful candidate will be part of a team of expert product developers who continually push the boundaries of the technologies and methodologies of effective software development.

The Position

This challenging position offers the opportunity to work in desktop application, SQL Server and AutoCAD development on one of our teams.

Your skills and interests will influence the nature of this position. 

What we look for:

• Degree, Diploma or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Engineering
• Ability to work and collaborate with a team
• Creative problem solving skills
  
• Experience working with Agile methodologies
• 5+ years experience with C# or other modern object-oriented language
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in the Visual Studio development environment
• SQL Server or other relational database experience
• Windows desktop application development in C++
• Experience with WPF and MVVM
• Experience working with Git and Azure DevOps
• Experience with AutoCAD or other CAD software
