About the role
Join a dynamic and fast-growing, high-impact digital team that’s shaping the future of customer-facing mobile experiences across Europe and Latin America. Our Digital Channels department is at the heart of product innovation—developing and evolving key applications like the MyVerisure app, used daily by millions of active users.
You’ll play a crucial role in the development of secure, scalable, and performant backend services. This includes RESTful APIs, microservices, and integrations that power mobile functionalities such as smart device control, event notifications, and real-time interactions. Your contributions will be critical to ensuring a seamless experience across Verisure’s digital ecosystem.
You’ll be embedded in one of several autonomous Scrum teams working within a product-driven environment and DevOps mindset. With the company's expansion to 17 countries, you’ll have exceptional opportunities for technical growth, cross-team mobility, and professional development.

Candidate profile
You are an experienced backend developer with a solid foundation in designing APIs, distributed systems, and microservices. You’re comfortable working with Java and relational databases, and you understand how backend architecture integrates with mobile and web applications.
You bring a DevOps mindset, work comfortably in cross-functional teams, and contribute to product evolution and technical discussions. You're someone who values clean code, scalable solutions, and continuous delivery. Experience in multicultural, fast-paced environments is a plus.
Essential Qualifications
3–5 years of experience as Java backend engineer.
Solid hands-on experience with REST APIs, Spring/Springboot, and relational databases.
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum).
Microservices: Dockers, Kubernetes.
Messaging systems using technologies like Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Highly Valued Qualifications
Experience integrating backend services with frontend/mobile platforms.
Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 (for integration purposes).
Experience interacting with cloud environments and DevOps pipelines.
