The RoleWe are looking for a Software Developer to contribute to the development of AspenTech’s Extract Transform Load (ETL) tool. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a fundamental understanding of software development techniques while possessing passion to learn and excel your expertise to the next level. You will also need to have the self-motivation and management to plan and execute moderate complexity development projects to successful completionYour Impact- Development on our next-generation Extract Transform Load (ETL) tool that provides data engineering tools for customers in the energy sector and beyond.
- Work with algorithms to provide configurable data and network topology translation.
- Provide development on our web front end enabling users to configure and test translation logic. These applications leverage frameworks like Angular to power responsive web applications.
- Work with a cross-functional agile team to plan, prioritize, develop, & deliver a useful and usable product.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field.
- Strong background in object-oriented programing
- Experience with C# and .NET preferred
- Strong understanding of graph-traversal algorithms
- Experience with source control systems (Git preferred).
- General knowledge of and ability to translate customer requirements into technical specifications and documentation.
- Experience in identifying, communicating, and resolving problems in a collaborative, professional manner.
- Experience developing interactive web applications using jQuery, AJAX and JavaScript.
- Experience with front end frameworks including AngularJS and Angular.
- Experience developing RESTful web services in .NET.
