PVM is actively seeking a Maintenance Software Developer located in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions that enhance operational efficiencies for our Government customer. You will leverage your expertise in relational databases, Object-Oriented programming, and full software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet rigorous technical requirements. Additionally, you will work both independently as a Technology Subject Matter Expert (SME) and collaboratively within a Developmental Test & Evaluation (DT&E) team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain software applications in accordance with software engineering best practices and Government requirements.
- Analyze, design, and implement software solutions to improve operational efficiencies and address customer needs.
- Support existing software applications, troubleshoot issues, and modify code to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with DT&E teams to assess software performance, validate compliance with technical requirements, and ensure readiness for Operational Test & Evaluation (OT&E).
- Perform code reviews and provide mentorship to other team members, ensuring high-quality software development and adherence to coding standards.
- Ensure security and integrity of applications by following Information Assurance (IA) coding standards and cybersecurity best practices.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to software requirements, source code, testing, and deployment processes.
- Integrate new technologies into existing products to enhance functionality and user experience.
- Evaluate system safety, compatibility with legacy systems, and maturity of integrated technologies to identify capabilities, limitations, and areas for improvement.
- Assist in certification processes, cybersecurity assessments, and system authorizations to ensure compliance with Government regulations.
- Provide technical recommendations to the Program Manager (PM) based on system analyses and test results.
Requirements:
- Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility required.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related discipline, or equivalent technical training.
- 6+yrs of programming experience
- 2yrs of .Net development
Tools:
- C#VB programming skills
- MS SQL Server (v.2000+)
- WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation)
- API (Application Program Interface) experience
