Leidos has an opening for a Software Developer to join our team who is highly motivated, responsible and a detailed oriented team. The successful candidate will support technical solutions in a collaborative team environment. This position requires an experienced, self-motivating individual capable of interacting effectively with key customers and users.
The challenge:
- Work directly with Subject Matter Experts and client customers to provide world-class application support for multiple utility company applications.
- Troubleshooting software issues.
- Willingness to support COTS applications.
- Provide technical support for enterprise-level application systems.
- Respond to general questions and trouble tickets in a timely manner.
- Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify potential solutions for how to resolve an issue.
- Prioritize multiple, open issues.
- Follow best practices for change control of proposed solutions.
- Debugging and troubleshooting.
- Working on minor bug fixes.
- Monitors the performance of internal systems.
- Provide on-call support as necessary.
What Sets You Apart: (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree (Computer science or related) with four plus (4+) years of relevant experience. May consider more years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Development experience with computer languages
- Strong communication (written and oral), documentation skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast, paced environment and perform duties without immediate supervision.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Possess the ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks to ensure project deadlines are met
- Proficiency with all or some of the following: MS Office Suite including Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access
