We are now looking for aSoftware Developer to join our team and contribute across the full software development lifecycle. In this role, you will develop software, automation solutions and CI/CD capabilities, support integration and verification activities, and continuously identify opportunities to improve how we build, test and deliver our solutions.
You will work in a collaborative, agile environment where automation, continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and engineering excellence are key.
What you will do
  • Develop, maintain and enhance software solutions and internal automation tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Design, implement and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Develop automation solutions using Python and Bash to improve development, testing and operational efficiency.
  • Build and maintain containerized environments using Docker and Podman.
  • Support application deployment and orchestration across IAT, SIT, UAT and Production environments using Kubernetes and Helm.
  • Develop and enhance internal web-based automation platforms using Python, Flask and PostgreSQL.
  • Develop and maintain Java-based applications using technologies such as Jakarta EE, EJB and Quarkus.
  • Integrate AI services and APIs into internal tools and engineering workflows to improve developer productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain automated test solutions, including functional, integration and performance testing.
  • Design and execute load and performance tests using tools such as Locust, analyse results and recommend improvements.
  • Apply secure coding practices and contribute to ensuring that applications and pipelines are protected against common vulnerabilities.
  • Perform unit, component and integration testing of developed software and automation solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development, testing and production environments.
  • Support go-live activities, acceptance procedures and testing together with operations and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain technical documentation for CI/CD workflows, automation solutions, platform architecture and operational procedures.
  • Track development activities and delivery progress through Jira.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve the SDLC, introduce new automation and drive measurable efficiency improvements.
  • Share knowledge, tools, engineering practices and new approaches across the team and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.

You will bring
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Software development experience, with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and software engineering practices.
  • Experience with Java and related technologies such as Jakarta EE, Spring, Hibernate, EJB and/or Quarkus.
  • Strong scripting and development skills using Python and Bash.
  • Experience developing web applications using Flask or similar frameworks.
  • Experience working with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
  • Hands-on experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using technologies such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, YAML and Bash.
  • Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Podman.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Helm for container orchestration and application deployment.
  • Knowledge of web services, APIs and microservices architectures.
  • Experience with automated testing and performance testing tools such as Robot Framework, Locust and unit testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and modern software deployment practices.
  • Understanding of secure coding principles and common application security risks.
  • Experience working with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with configuration management and IP technologies.
  • Experience using Jira or similar tools for task and project tracking.
  • Ability to work independently, analyse complex technical problems and collaborate effectively across teams.
