About the Role
We’re looking for a Software Developers in Test who takes initiative, communicates clearly, and thrives in a collaborative environment with a strong sense of responsibility.
As part of our Performance and Scalability team, you’ll focus on automating and scaling performance testing through our in-house SWIFT framework. Your work will play a critical role in ensuring our product releases meet rigorous performance standards and deliver consistent, reliable benchmarks.
We value full ownership and high-quality output. Team members are expected to operate with a strong sense of accountability and be flexible in collaborating across time zones with our SWIFT architecture team based in Canada, which may occasionally involve off-hours discussions and team meetings.
Responsibilities
·Design and implement functional and performance test plans in JMeter, targeting REST and SOAP APIs used in supply chain workflows.
· Build parameterized, reusable test components in our internal framework to simulate full business flows.
· Use Playwright for UI automation to provide additional coverage of critical UI paths.
· Ensure tests are data-driven using structured input (CSV/JSON), supporting flexible scenario coverage and user simulation.
· Develop and maintain test orchestration logic and result reporting in Python.
· Contribute to long-term test architecture by focusing on stability, reusability, and scalability of test assets.
· Strong experience with JMeter for both functional API testing and performance/load testing of REST/SOAP services.
· Proficiency in Python for test scripting, execution control, and result processing.
· Hands-on experience with Playwright for UI testing in multi-browser environments.
· Solid understanding of test parameterization, modularization, and dynamic data handling (CSV/JSON-based inputs).
· Familiarity with API authentication mechanisms, request/response validation, and error handling.
· Experience integrating tests into containerized execution environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
· Working knowledge of Git and CI/CD tools for automation pipeline integration.
Preferred Experience:
· Exposure to PostgreSQL for validating backend data states during or after test runs.
· Background in supply chain, ERP, or warehouse management systems, with knowledge of key operational workflows.
· Experience working in a custom or internal automation framework and contributing to reusable test infrastructure.
