The Job
We are seeking an experienced and driven Software Engineer - Team/Tech Lead to help guide a team of engineers in delivering high-quality software solutions.You will be a hands-on leader and responsible for technical leadership, mentoring and ensuring the successful execution of development projects.
The ideal candidate is passionate about both technology, team dynamics and can balance delivery with a focus on long-term architecture and quality.
What You’ll Do
Leadership & Team Management
Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of software engineers through all phases of the development lifecycle.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture focused on growth, feedback, and continuous improvement.
Conduct regular 1:1s, support career development, and manage performance reviews.
Set and track goals for team members, aligning them with department and business objectives.
Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning to support scaling and stability.
Agile Delivery & Planning
Serve as the Agile champion within the team—own agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.).
Collaborate closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to define sprint goals, prioritize work, and remove blockers.
Monitor sprint progress, velocity, and ensure deliverables are aligned with team capacity.
Track and report on resource allocation, team capacity, and workload distribution.
Technical Ownership
Drive technical decisions, architectural designs, and coding standards within the team.
Participate in hands-on coding, code reviews, and troubleshooting complex issues.
Advocate for engineering best practices, including test-driven development, CI/CD, and secure coding.
Ensure the scalability, performance, and maintainability of systems.
Encourage technical experimentation and adoption of modern tools and practices.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Mid-snr experience in software development (hands on).
Team lead experience.
Prior experience working in an Agile development environment or strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum).
Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g. JavaScript, PHP, C#).
AI experience
Mobile - Flutter
Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across teams.
