About the role:

The Software Developer Specialist will work on a wide range of projects from application development to gamification to mobile apps. Participating in the design and creation of scalable software. Writing clean, functional code on the UI front- and server side. Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues


Requirements

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for building web applications using Single Page Application (SPA) paradigm.
  • Develop software solution using industry best practice, in the area of security & performance in a web & SOA architecture environment.
  • Effectively develop in a clean, well structured & easily maintainable format.
  • Participate in the full SDLC with requirements, solution design, development & QA.
  • Provide accurate timelines on work.
  • Follow coding standards, build appropriate unit tests, integration tests and deployment scripts.
  • Assists in defining software architectures – Collaborates with leads to explore existing systems, determines areas of complexity, potential risks to successful implementation, learns the applications capabilities.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot efficiently and responsibly to accelerate development, improve code quality, generate boilerplate/tests, and support debugging while ensuring all generated code is reviewed, secure, maintainable, and aligned with LRN coding standards.
  • Communicates continually with the project teams – Explains progress on the development effort.
  • Owns success – Takes responsibility for successful delivery of the solutions.
  • Contributes to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to user interface, software architecture or new technologies.

What we're looking for:

  • Practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar tools in day-to-day development, including effective prompt writing, code suggestion evaluation, test generation, refactoring support, and validating AI-generated output through peer review, unit testing, and secure coding practices.
  • Should have worked in distributed Agile model and continuous integration.
  • Should have at least 4 years of experience in required technology (JavaScript, Angular 2 & above / Node).
  • Should have good background about the web technologies available in the market.
  • Hands-on experience on building APIs.
  • AWS knowledge will be an added advantage.
  • Good experience of the Technology stack (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, NodeJS, Angular, MongoDB).
  • Expert in OOP's.
  • Experience working with Angular version 2 and above and Node JS.
  • Good understanding of DB like MongoDB, PostgreSQL.
  • Exposure to GIT.

Skills Required

  • 4+ years experience with JavaScript, Angular (v2+) and Node.js
  • Practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) including prompt writing and validation
  • Experience working in a distributed Agile model and continuous integration
  • Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs
  • Good experience with HTML, JavaScript, NodeJS, Angular and MongoDB
  • Good understanding of databases such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL
  • Expertise in object-oriented programming (OOP)
  • Exposure to Git / version control workflows
  • Knowledge of AWS
  • Familiarity with SPA and SOA architecture, and web security and performance best practices
